Graphite Toolkit Foundations Class – Online

6 week intensive online class designed to change the way you see. This is the exact information that will help draw out your style, which is your personal way of perceiving the world. This is not a class about drawing. It’s about helping you understand experientially what brings an object to life and how you communicate what you see to your intended audience. Your drawing will improve as you supplement your natural ability with the mastery of the basics; pencil, eraser and blender. Everything else is practice – this will build your unique foundation of expression.

Must be willing to start at the beginning of things, and ideally, already be into your artistic journey. This is not a beginning drawing class. It’s a re-frame with new habits and concepts designed to challenge and expand your artmaking. Please contact me for class schedule and supplies.

We’ll discuss goals, track progress, and explore creative possibilities. Whether you’re building confidence, looking to socialize with fellow artists, or aiming to push your work further, this class is for self-starters ready to reconnect with their art. Creative Arts supplies most of the tools you’ll need- if you have pencils and erasers that you typically use, great. Bring them.

Running continually for over six years, this Open Studio* class includes Instructor Guidance, frequent check- ins on personal style development, individual technique, and preparation and encouragement.

*Open Studio: You will create and work on your own project, this is not a follow along class. You will learn at your own pace, with a lot of instruction and motivation!

Break up the winter evenings with this inviting, 90-minute open studio. Work on your own projects with guidance and set goals in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere—perfect for self-starters looking to return to their art and stay inspired through the season. Whether you’re picking up your pencils again or trying new techniques, this class offers a creative escape from the winter chill. Class Description: Youth Open Studio – Pencil, Marker, Colored Pencil & Watercolor

THURSDAY 4 -5:30PM

For young artists (ages 9 through high school) who love to draw and want to push their skills further, this after-school open studio offers the perfect creative space. Work on your own projects with access to pencils, markers, colored pencils, and watercolor, and get guidance tailored to your goals. This 90-minute session is for focused, self-driven students looking to deepen their technique and connect with others in a friendly, supportive environment.
